Kids are an important part of our Hope family. Our children’s programming values each child’s uniqueness, and is grounded in building nurturing relationships that help them grow in faith.
Sunday School & Children’s Choir
Sunday school and Children’s choir meet Sunday mornings at 9:30 am, starting the first Sunday after Labor Day through mid-May. Children ages 3 through 6th grade are welcome to participate. Our kids delight the congregation with a Christmas program in December, and a children’s musical in the spring.
Confirmation
Pastor teaches confirmation classes to our 7th & 8th graders on Wednesday evenings. We explore the Bible one year, and dig into the topics covered in Luther’s Small Catechism the next year. For our students who have completed both years of learning, they participate in a special Affirmation of Baptism service on the 3rd Sunday in May.
