On Saturday, May 16th, 12 people helped clean a stretch of Cottage Grove Road from Vilas Hope Road to McDonalds in Cottage Grove. Thanks to Elaine Haefer, Ted Ryan, Carmen Harder, Denise & Gary Snorek, Dan & Holli Viken, Aubreigh Sylvia, Jim & Irma Timm, and Jane & Noel Rudie 6 bags of garbage were collected. Treats and beverages were supplied by Elaine and Diana Tonn. A big 'Thank You' goes out to all who participated in the Spring Adopt-a-Highway event. On a side note, Aubreigh found a dog, it was returned to its owner. We also found somebody’s credit card. There’s always a contest about who finds the most significant item. Aubreigh Wins!!
